About Corefleet

Corefleet provides short and long-term vehicle hire, leasing, and servicing solutions to clients operating across the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. They are part of the Sime group in Australia and New Zealand. 

Corefleet approached us because they needed a suite of consistent, branded assets for their marketing and sales teams, as well as Content Guidelines to ensure consistent usage across all platforms. 

The challenge

Corefleet's design files and brand assets had evolved over time, creating an opportunity to refresh and reorganise them for greater consistency and impact. 

Without a single source of truth for Content Guidelines, teams were drawing from multiple documents. This highlighted the need to unify brand standards to enable the team to make consistent brand decisions across all touch points.

The solution

Content Guidelines 

Before partnering with us, Corefleet’s Content Guidelines were spread across multiple design and brand documents, making it tricky for the team to stay consistent.

To ensure a single source of truth for team members preparing branded materials, we developed a comprehensive set of user-friendly Content Guidelines. 

This was also an opportunity to refresh and update Corefleet’s brand messaging. Over the years, their target audience has evolved and grown. We collaborated closely with their marketing team to refine their tone of voice and codify it in the new guidelines. 

Canva Brand Toolkit

To help Corefleet’s marketing and sales teams create professional, on-brand graphics quickly and easily, we built them a Canva Brand Toolkit

First, we audited their current branding materials to gain a deeper understanding of their brand and identify areas for improvement.

We then set about building the brand kit in Canva and locking down particular features to ensure that only certain users could adjust the underlying brand assets (e.g. colours, logos, etc.).

Once the kit was complete, our designers created a fresh suite of assets and templates including brochures, press ads and proposals.

Finally, we onboarded the client and provided them with an easy-to-read set of brand kit guidelines to ensure they would continue to get the most out of their new resource. Upon request, we also provided some assets in alternative formats (e.g. Microsoft PPT) to support the needs of specific teams.

Now, Corefleet has a consistent set of brand assets and Content Guidelines that they can use to fortify their brand identity and reach their growing national audience more effectively.

By improving brand perception, Corefleet is better placed to communicate the quality of their service and inspire trust in prospective clients. 

The internal impact is also significant. With the Canva Brand Toolkit and clear Content Guidelines, marketing staff can create professional branded collateral quickly and easily, while sales teams can create high-quality proposals with ready-to-use templates.
