About One Click Life

One Click Life (OCL) is an Australian fintech company. They enable customers to simplify various personal administration tasks, such as completing their tax returns, by consolidating them into a single, user-friendly platform.

OCL approached ALYKA to help them increase their number of new customers going into the 2023 tax season.

The challenge

While OCL's main goal was to drive new users, they had strict limits on the amount they were willing to spend on each new lead.

They had previously used Google Ads with another agency prior to ALYKA, but weren't happy with the overall campaign results.

As such, cost efficiency, the efficacy of Ads, and the transparency of the work performed by their agency linked to campaign results were key client concerns.

The solution

Google Ads and Bing Ads

We started with an audit of OCL's existing Google Ads and used this to inform the development of a new strategy. This featured new campaigns, the optimisation of previous campaigns, and the commencement of Bing Ads.

Facebook Ads

We also set up a Facebook Ads account and tracked conversions. This was supported by the development of a campaign strategy to raise brand awareness and generate new leads before and during the 2023 tax season.

SEO recommendations

An SEO audit was undertaken and we completed the project with a training session for our OCL's inhouse marketing team. The team then systematically implemented audit recommendations with a resulting 3x growth in organic traffic to the website.

Close communication

Keeping OCL in the loop throughout the rollout of these campaigns was going to be key to a successful and transparent relationship. This resulted in the preparation of weekly WIP documents and hosted bi-weekly performance checks to review and plan for future optimisations, account checks and strategy check-ins.

One Click Life Google Ads

By the end of the 2023 tax season, OCL had onboarded more than twice as many new customers and more than doubled their annual revenue compared to their 2022 results. In doing so, Google Ads reliance was reduced significantly.

Further, by implementing our SEO recommendations, OCL tripled the organic traffic to their website as well as the number of keywords the site ranks for.

These results, combined with our transparency over ad spending and performance as well as our prompt implementation of recommendations, cemented OCL’s trust in ALYKA. 

We are now considered an invaluable extension of OCL’s team and are currently working with them on the development of future campaigns to promote their broader service offering, as well as their 2024 tax season products. 

We've had a very collaborative and transparent relationship with ALYKA that has assisted us in achieving our goals. We've been able to scale up our marketing spend in cost-effective ways using many different strategies, which has delivered huge top-line growth for One Click Life. 

This year we have established campaigns that are delivering huge returns with the prospect of further expanding out the campaigns for both brand awareness and acquisition of new customers.
