About Pearl Coast Pastoral
Pearl Coast Pastoral is a WA cattle producer and agricultural company operating in the state’s north. They produce 100% purebred Red Brahman and primarily supply Southeast Asian markets like Indonesia and Vietnam.
They approached ALYKA to help them develop their Brand Identity and online presence.
The challenge
Pearl Coast Pastoral came to us with their name and a description of their services. Although they had been operating for a number of years, they had to create branding and a website to effectively communicate their vision and value to prospective clients.
As such, they needed a way to make their brand more competitive among their more established competitors. In particular, they needed their brand and website to resonate with their Southeast Asian audience.
This was an exciting opportunity for us to build a brand from scratch and create a digital presence that would help Pearl Coast Pastoral achieve its future ambitions.

The solution
Brand design
After consulting with Pearl Coast Pastoral on their brand preferences, we prepared a selection of logo options featuring different text, graphic and colour pairings. This process helped the client identify their preferred branding direction: an elegant text-based logo, complemented by hand-drawn illustrations showcasing the Red Brahman breed.
We then worked on perfecting the graphics to ensure they accurately captured the physical features of the breed. We consulted with the client to better understand the appearance of an ideal Red Brahman and emphasised those features to communicate the animal’s premium quality.
We delivered the following brand assets:
- Brand Identity, including custom illustrations
- Brand Guidelines
WordPress Essentials website
After establishing Pearl Coast Pastoral’s visual branding, we began the process of creating their website in WordPress.
First, we took the client through a workshop to help us better understand their values, vision, communication style and content preferences. We also conducted a comprehensive review of competitor websites to identify industry best practices and opportunities for Pearl Coast to showcase their unique offering. This formed the basis of the website’s Information Architecture, as well as the content layout for each page.
Next, it was time for our copywriter to write the website content and our design team to create the pages. Through a precise combination of image selection, user interface design, and written copy, we emphasised the lush environment in which Pearl Coast Pastoral operate and highlighted how this contributes to the cultivation of calmer, premium animals that appeal to Southeast Asian buyers.
The results







Pearl Coast Pastoral now have a cohesive set of brand assets that they can use to cultivate a recognisable Brand Identity.
They also have an online presence that effectively conveys both their Brand Identity and value proposition.
With an easy-to-manage WordPress CMS, Pearl Coast Pastoral’s new website is designed to grow with them as their needs change.
